We’re a family-owned air conditioning and electrical business based in Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane. For over 15 years, Brad and the team have been helping homeowners and businesses across Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redland Bay, and the Gold Coast stay comfortable year-round.

Brad started out as an apprentice electrician at an air conditioning company, and it didn’t take long for him to fall for the work. After completing his electrical apprenticeship, he went further and earned a dual trade qualification in refrigeration mechanics, giving him a skillset that would later become the backbone of BG Electrical & Air Conditioning.
Eight years in the trade, with a straightforward goal to do good work and treat people fairly, made the next step obvious: go out on his own and build a business that treated people and their homes with care.
That dual trade background turned out to be a real point of difference. Brisbane summers don’t forgive a dodgy installation, and too many homeowners were being let down by operators who didn’t have the electrical expertise to back up their AC work. Brad did, and that’s what made BG a genuine one-stop shop from day one.
Since then, Brad has built the team carefully and deliberately, training everyone with the same attention to detail and respect the job demands. Today, seven trucks are on the road Monday to Friday, operating out of BG’s own commercial base.
But ask him what he’s most proud of, and he’ll tell you it’s simpler than that: a job done right and a customer who comes back.

Brad Gall 👋
Director
Brad has been in the air conditioning and electrical trades for 23 years straight. As a licensed dual-trade professional, his knowledge extends beyond that of the average AC tech or electrician. He keeps everything running smoothly, oversees all jobs, and handles a large portion of on-site quoting.
Ash Gall 👋
Office Manager
Ashley is the Office Manager and Health and Safety Representative at BG Electrical & Air Con. She helps keep the office organised behind the scenes, oversees health and safety, and supports marketing and social media. Ashley enjoys creating a smooth, friendly experience for both customers and the team.
Josh 
Tradesman
Josh is one of the key hands on our team, trusted to deliver clean, quality work on every job. Whether it's a split system install or a ducted system service, he takes pride in getting the details right and leaving the site spotless. He's the kind of tradie you actually want showing up at your door.
Beau
Manager
Beau keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes, ensuring every job is scheduled, resourced, and on time. He works closely with Brad to coordinate the team across Brisbane and ensure every air conditioning project is delivered to the standard we are known for - professional and friendly.

Trade licences are easy to list out, and just as easy to ignore when it’s not clear what they mean. Here’s what ours actually mean for you.
Master Electricians is an industry body with strict requirements around training, insurance, and workmanship standards. Most AC-only installers aren’t members, because they’re not electricians. Brad is, which means the electrical work behind your air conditioning installation is done to a higher standard and with full accountability.
Lic: 32791835
A current QBCC licence means we are NOT just electricians who do AC work; we are fully licensed refrigeration mechanics licensed to complete all repairs and service works. We are trained and certified to install sophisticated and advanced air conditioning systems, including large KW units, ducted systems, package units and multi-head systems. Only QBCC licensed AC companies like us can do this legally.
AU Lic: AU39204
Handling refrigerants in Australia requires ARCtick certification as a legal requirement. It means our technicians are trained and authorised to handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.
Lic: 81419
Queensland’s licence for electrical contractors. Current, compliant, and on record. This ensures the contractor is legally authorised to perform electrical work in Queensland and helps protect your business, your customers, and the safety of the site.
